Premier Bligh visits Cooktown and Hopevale to discuss welfare reform trial
Anna Bligh visited Indigenous communities in Cooktown and Hopevale last week to discuss progress on the Cape York Welfare Reform Trial.
Community leaders and government agencies will work together to restrict alcohol supplies, increase drug and alcohol support services and manage welfare payments via the new Family Responsibilities Commission.
