Reforms to Queensland’s freedom of information laws

Premier Anna Bligh has announced an overhaul of Queensland’s freedom of information laws.

The reform will provide the public with greater accessibility to information and better transparency. The announcement on 20 August 2008 follows a Bligh Cabinet decision in September 2007 to review the existing system in Queensland.
