2008 Premier of Queensland Smart Awards
Premier Anna Bligh announced the winners of the 2008 Premier of Queensland Smart Awards at a ceremony in Brisbane on Thursday 31 July.
Premier Bligh congratulated all award winners, including the Toowoomba-based Easternwell Group, which took out the Premier’s Smart Award of the Year.
"Fostering knowledge, creativity and innovation in Queensland is about improving the prosperity and quality of life for all Queenslanders," Ms Bligh said.
"Queensland business is playing a vital role in this growth and the Premier of Queensland’s Smart Awards are about recognising their efforts and achievements."
