Milestone for South East Queensland Water Grid

Progress on the Western Corridor Recycled Project now 70% complete

The South East Queensland Water Grid has passed another major milestone. Pipes connecting the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant into the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project were laid at Gibson Island, taking the project towards 70% completion.

Premier Anna Bligh and the Federal Minister for Climate Change and Water, Penny Wong, were at Gibson Island to see progress on the project first hand.
